Dave French Regretably I will not be able to come to the re-union because of another long standing anniversary I must go to. Chas Cheetham is returning to his wife and daughter in the USA early in June and will not be available as far as I know. Have a great day. |
Nicky Lofthouse Apologies for the delay in replying, which has been due to trying to alter my activities to fit in a visit to Reading at that date. Because I live quite a long distance away, and it takes around 3½ hours to travel down to Reading, I try to include making other visits etc. whilst there and in London. But my commitments up here, for that time, have made that difficult. I have visited the website that you designed for the school. It is excellent. It is good to see the amount of excitement of 'old' pupils who are looking forward to the reunion and those that enjoyed past get-togethers. I am happy to say that whilst still in Reading, many pupils who met me took the trouble to chat. Members of staff, some of whom who left the Meadway, still keep in touch with me. I have fond memories of the students at the Meadway and I must say, that I do wonder how many of them have got on over the years. Have a good time on the 29th June. I have no doubt that the event will be a success with your good organisation. |

Clive Payne Thankyou for your kind invitation to the Meadway School reunion. Sadly my wife and I have a previous engagement on the 29th june that we are committed to. However I think it is a great idea and wish you and you fellow ex-students all the best for the future. I hope you have a splendid evening. |

Rosina Marsh Thank you so much for your invitation to the Meadway School Reunion. I still treasure the tape of the Vivaldi 'Gloria' with you an Matthew White singing your famous duet. Sadly I shall be far away on holiday that day with the Portsmouth Museums and Records Society so I shall not be able to come this time. However I hope there will be a next time as I am sure it will be an outstanding sucess. Kind regards to all who attend. |
Camilla Sheppard Thank you very much for your kind invitation to the reunion. I am afraid that living, as I now am, in east Sussex I shall not be able to attend. I shall miss meeting again sixth-formers from '88-'90 and I do hope many are able to attend and that the evening is a great success. |
Steve Wellman Thanks very much for writing to invite me to the Meadway School Reunion. Unfortunately, I shall be away at the end of June through to early July for our annual Year 7 school trip to Brittany, and so shall not be able to attend. Well done for organising the event. I'm sure it will be a big sucess. Good luck with the final preparations and I hope you have a great evening. Best wishes and regards to all involved. |
